IMPORTANT NOTICE - There are several major issues with VideoPaper Builder. View our Known Issues page for descriptions of the issues and work-arounds.
Importing HTML Files as Text Pages
Authors may have the text of their VideoPaper projects already formatted
and saved as HTML files. In this case, they may choose to IMPORT these files
directly into VideoPaper Builder. To do so, click on the
IMPORT PAGE icon in the Page tab area of the interface. A dialog box will
open, in which you can navigate to the desired HTML file and click OPEN.
The page title will appear in the list of Pages and its content may be edited
in the Text Editor. Follow this process for each page you wish to include.
NOTE: the Text Editor saves text content as HTML files. Therefore, HTML files imported into the Text Editor should retain all standardized text formatting. Non-text-related HTML code will not appear in the Text Editor as it would in a browser; this code will instead appear as UNRECOGNIZED CODE. Unrecognized HTML code will, however, be preserved as part of the text page. Authors may delete, reformat the content, or leave as is. Authors may select STRIP UNRECOGNIZED CODE upon importing HTML files. This is provided for authors who may be importing files known to contain unwanted code.
