Adding Video to Page (Page Link) Buttons

Page Links are inserted into the Video using the Timeline Window. The Timeline Window is arranged in horizontal Rows, showing the linear progression of content over time (the start to end time of the video). The Timeline Window is used to create and arrange Page Links as well as Slides and Video Overlays.

Page Links are arranged along the timeline of the video file and cause buttons to appear at set durations within the video. These buttons, when clicked on by the viewer, will open the linked Text Page. There is no limit to the number of Page Links that may be included in the VideoPaper Project in sequence along the Timeline.

To access the Timeline Window, choose Timeline from the View menu.

Click in the Timeline Row labeled Page Link to activate the Page Link feature; when activated, the row label will become highlighted in blue.

To create a new Page Link, click on the New Track Content icon, located in the Toolbar across the top of the Timeline Window; a Untitled Page Link will appear in the Timeline Row, set at the default start time of 0:00.

Eding and Deleting Page Link Buttons
Click on the Page Link to be edited; the arrows on each side showing its Start and End times will become highlighted in blue to show that it is activated.

Click on the Track Content Info icon, located in the Toolbar across the top of the Timeline Window, while the Page Link is activated. A dialog box will open, containing the option to change the Page Link Title and to select, from a drop-down menu, a Text Page to link to. The drop-down menu contains a list of all Text Pages currently created. The activated Page Link will show the updated Title and a Link icon to show that it has been successfully linked to a Text Page.

To change the Start and End times of a Page Link, click and drag on the activated Page Link within the Timeline Row to the desired time. Drag the blue arrows on each side of the Page Link to change the DURATION of the Page Link.

To Delete a Page Link, click on the Trash icon , located in the Toolbar across the top of the Timeline Window, while the Page Link to be deleted is activated. Page Links can be edited or deleted at any time.
